Are you still having tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3?
You can update to 4.3.1 and jailbreak using sn0wbreeze 2.5.1, jailbreak using redsn0w 0.9.6 RC12, or jailbreak using PwnageTool 4.3 instead.

How-to use iBooty-for-4.3 to start tethered jailbreak device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod).

If you were using sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 to jailbreak iOS 4.3, it generated iBooty-for-4.3 folder on your Desktop which contains iBooty.exe (iBooty v2.0), files folder (contains ibss.4.dfu, ibss.4.payload, notice.read, and s-irecovery.exe).
If you cannot find iBooty-for-4.3 folder on Desktop, or simply missing this folder, you can download iBooty-for-4.3 by clicking here.

Now, follow this guide to start your tethered jailbroken device using iBooty V2.0:

  1. Open iBooty-for-4.3 folder → Run iBooty.exe

  2. Select your iDevice by clicking dropdown menu in the right bottom.

  3. Before clicking start, prepare to enter DFU mode.
    Click Start → Prepare to Press Power + Home → Press Power + Home for 10 seconds → Prepare to release the Power but keep holding Home → Release the Power Button, but keep holding Home for about 8 seconds (until iBooty start Exploiting)

    • If you failed to enter DFU mode, iBooty will display alert: “You failed to Enter DFU mode. Please Try again.“. Click OK → then click Start to start all over again.

  4. When iBooty start Exploiting your device, please wait until iBooty says Done.

  5. Done. Now, you can close iBooty and your tethered jailbroken device should be started normally.
