WaveDeck is way cool! When we heard about it, our unspoken thought was “meh, another voice messenger.” After all, voice messenger is slowly creeping its way to one of the areas with most potential growth. Why use WhatsApp? Instead of texting you can just record and send. Faster, cleaner and longer.

In some sense, WaveDeck is that, WhatsApp for voice. It will pull your contacts, check which have WaveDeck and let you voice message them via the app. The cool factor up to here is just “medium.” But when you start using WaveDeck, it gets cooler and cooler. You have to check it to see it.

The app description from the App Store boasts that WaveDeck has a slick interface. Since I’m very interface picky, I had to test it, up and down, right and left to check it. It is slick? Hell, yeah. It’s Apple slick: almost like something Apple engineers may make. Simple: push and hold to record a new message and send it. Just two taps to do it!

To activate WaveDeck you need a phone (you’ll get a SMS with an activation code, free) and then you are ready to go. It’s fast: in 10 seconds I had it on and ready to talk. Once you are at this point everything is simple. An introduction walkthrough will quickly guide you to your first steps (as well as a pre-recorded message to greet you.) You get a complete log of sent messages, contacts with WaveDeck installed and an invite button. Nothing else, which is quite a pleasant surprise among so many option-rigged interfaces.

In short: WaveDeck is the future, here. Captain Kirk didn’t text, he voice messaged.

We were born to speak, not write - speaking is natural, fast and easy. Writing is slow, requires concentration, and carries considerably less emotion. For the life of us, we can’t figure out why people should write so much. So we built Wavedeck.

Try it now! We promise you'll love it.

NOTE: WaveDeck is free for a limited time. You should get it now!
