So, you’re getting ready to take a trip for the holidays – maybe to grandmom’s house – but your grandmom moved and getting lost would be a bad thing (you can’t miss the big meal!) You don’t have navigation but you do have an iPhone, so help is on the way! Get ready to find your grandmother even id she doesn’t want you to! An App called Wazeby Waze Inc. will be your guide.
Wazeis a navigation App that works differently from most navigation apps. It uses the very people who are driving and using the App to build the actual maps and gives you very cool real-time traffic with the ability to show pictures of the traffic jam you might be in. Wazeeven makes it fun to drive by giving you points for munching roads as you drive, filling in the main map. You can also send out real-time alerts on accidents and police activity.. All you do is create an account and start driving. As you drive information is sent to Wazewhich is then added to the main map. At the end of each day, points are added to your account based on how far you’ve driven and how many reports you’ve sent and you can see where you rank with all the other Wazers.
So, how does it work? It depends where you live and how many people are using Waze to build your map area. Big cities most likely will be more accurate than the countryside due to the number of people using the App.
