Just in time for Halloween! Zombie Me is one of those apps you can use to amaze and disgust your friends. It’s currently being offered as a free download for a limited time so even if you aren’t excited by the app, it’s still a good time to get it.
Zombies are "in" right now and if you were ever interested in seeing what you look like as a zombie without actually becoming one, then this app is for you.
You start by taking a photo with your iPhone camera or selecting one from your Photo Library. You can then add all kinds of images such as zombie eyes or blood and superimpose them on your own. If you’re really good at it, you can match skin colors of the new pieces as well.
While I recognize that it would be asking a lot of such a simple app, I do wish it had a bit more "intelligence" behind it. By that, I mean I wish it could detect your face and eyes based on the photo and know where to put all the zombie "pieces", possibly even matching up skin colors so you don’t have to. Even better, it would be great if the app could putrify the skin in your photos for you.
Sadly, it does none of these things. It’s a good app for what it does and is certainly worth the price. Now if you’ll excuse me, there are a few people I’d like to turn into zombies.
