Fibble – Review – Help an alien get home
App Type: Games
Version #: 1.0
Date Released: 2012-04-29
Price: 1.99User Rating:
A refreshing alternative to your typical alien trying to take over the world game, Fibble has you try to save the alien instead. In Fibble, players take control of a bite-sized chubby little alien who has crashed his ship into an earthly household. Armed with the blueprints of the humble abode, he tries to navigate himself through the various locations in the house and get back home.
The gameplay mechanism of Fibble is much like that of mini golf, where the objective of each stage is to get Fibble from one end to the other alongside the now common physics mechanism that makes the game realistic. However, it is the design ideas put in place for the game that sets it apart from the rest.
For starters, Fibble boasts of graphics that are comparable to a 3D animated film. Cute and easy on the eyes, Fibble appeals not only to casual gamers, but to those who want a break from visually intensive games. Fibble renders places commonly seen in a regular home, like a kitchen, into a somewhat fantasy abode where anything can happen while not overly exaggerating what is shown to players.
In the sound department, Fibble scores for complimenting its cutesy graphics with equally cute sounds effects. This includes cheerful and catchy music that easily brightens up one’s mood, as well as random squeals that are just so cute.
For $1.99, Fibble is an app that is worth the download. With an decent amount of levels to plough through, expect to spend many an hour navigating the house to get a stranded Fibble back home.
Would I Buy Again:Yes.
Learning Curve:Simple. Instructions are clear and concise.
Who Is It For:Anyone and everyone.
What I Like:The graphics that simply scream cute!
What I Don't Like:Not that many levels, though some might argue that this prevents the game from getting draggy.

When the cute but curiously brave extraterrestrial explorer ‘Fibble’ and his friends crash-land in a regular suburban home, the world we take for granted suddenly starts to look a lot like alien territory.
