Have you ever had a sick fantasy about shooting armies of the undead into bloody pulps? Then this very well may be the game for you. This app is currently onsale for $.99, then goes up to $1.99 for another week until it settles at $2.99. At the lowest price, it’s worth it. At the higher prices, you’ll have to judge for yourself.
You are a zombie hunter (and you can choose from a few different characters) whose mission is to "kill" as many of the undead as possible. You are armed with various guns and left in a courtyard from which there is no escape. Once you kill your predetermined zombie quota, you go up a level.
While playing this game, I couldn’t help but think that this would be an awesome concept for a competitive reality show. The winner gets a million dollars. The losers become undead.
Game play is a little difficult at first. One of the two touch controls on the screen allow you to move around while the other chooses the direction for you to fire in. I’m not particularly ambidextrous so it took a little getting used to.
Blood certainly does flow in the game. You have to shoot zombies a few times each before they go down. If they reach you, they start to nibble. The graphics of this game are superb and downright frightening.
For $.99, this app is a steal. It’s easily as good as applications five times that price. Recommended.

Compared with the traditional zombies games, Alive 4-ever uses a more stimulating effect to create a thrilling ambience for the players to fully experience the different kinds of audio and visual effects. Besides the shooting component, Alive 4-ever has added other different elements like rescuing survivors and searching for vaccines, which highly increased the longevity of the game. Moreover, Alive 4-ever has fully utilized the Bluetooth function with the new OS 3.0 of iPhone (limited to iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G), which allows a maximum of 4 players to have fun and play simultaneously.
