Though initially starting out as a platform for bloggers, WordPress has evolved from that and has soon become a platform hosting a wide array of niche websites. With the WordPress mobile app, users can now update their site contents anywhere while on the go, instead of having to wait till they reach home or get access to a computer.

Having a mobile app for WordPress really does compliment the functions of a smartphone. With the WordPress user interface styled after that of popular social networks like Facebook, users can upload photos and posts right from their mobile devices. This saves the hassle of having to transfer photos or videos, and lengthy posts can easily be drafted while on the go.

As mentioned, the user interface of WordPress heavily resembles that of social networking sites. This makes it a lot easier to upload content rather than having to go through complicated formatting options.

Another nifty function in the mobile app would be the ability to keep tabs on the stats of your site. The WordPress mobile app gives users charts documenting site traffic and other relevant information.

A free app, this is not only recommended, but is a must for all WordPress users to download.
