When it comes to features, Apple might be a bit slow but when they do come out, the company makes it as big and as huge as possible. Phones with 3D cameras has been around for quite some time but perhaps it is time for Apple to incorporate one of those for their devices.

What we’re saying might possibly come out but do not expect it to come out for the next iPhone. In fact, we think that it will take at least a generation or two before Apple puts this on their new device. However, what is worth knowing is that the way on which Apple applies the concept of 3D camera is unique in more ways than one because it applies the use of laser to create the 3D imagery. The camera will also be more superior to the ones present today because it will feature a more advanced sensor for better color accuracy.

Apple has already released a patent sometime in the third quarter of 2011. Whether it will be implemented soon is something that we may never know until the company unveils the new product. Nevertheless, an iPhone or even an iPad with 3D capability is something to look forward to indeed.
