I have always been a sucker for block breaker games.  This is a simply designed block breaker with a twist.  All four sides of the phone have a bar that is used.  This is an innovative idea, but the gameplay is difficult.

As you can see from the screen shots, the graphics are simple.  It has an animated feel with the bars being animated animal looking characters.  There is no music, but sounds are made when blocks are broken and the ball bounces off of the bars.  I have not seen the graphics change yet, other than the block alignment changing at the beginning of a level.

Even though the graphics are simple, the gameplay is super challenging.  There are four usable bars to deflect the ball into the blocks.  The bar at the bottom of the screen is the bar which is controllable using the accelorometer.  As the ball bounces back and forth you not only have to move the bar back and forth, but be prepared to tilt your iphone 180 degrees to utilize another bar.  Sounds simple enough, but was quite difficult in the beginning.  At one point I had a theory that you just had to keep turning your phone in one direction to get the ball going.  Then it would kick off of a block and head back the other direction.  You have to learn to anticipate the next bounce.  As blocks begin to disappear, the ball may miss all of the blocks and bypass to a different side.  This was difficult to play.

All in all, if you are a hardcore block breaker fan, the challenges in this game will keep you on your toes.  If you are a really casual iPhone gamer, the difficulty level might create a short play time for you.  You will have to be the judge of where you fall.  The idea of the game is very innovative and executed pretty well.  I would like to see a change in graphics and an upgrade in sounds personally.
