App Update – Web Apps

One app that just received a nice, but unnoticed, update is Web Apps.

Web Apps is a great free app that reminds us that there are still iPhone and iPod Touch web apps out there (the bread and butter of iPhone usage during its first year).

Web Apps provides easy access to hundreds of web based apps and offers numerous ways to organize and sort apps. When you see an app that interests you, it is  just a tap away thanks to Web Apps. Best of all, the apps open up within the application so you can easily close them and move to another without the hassle of the Safari browser with its limit of just 8 pages.

The update…

–offers more convenient ways to access apps previously marks as "favorites"

–introduces a neat "shake to shuffle" feature in which you shake the iPhone to make a random web app appear.

–displays a list of popular apps as identified by other users

–allows you to apps in landscape (always a great addition to any app imo)

Web Apps is free $.99 (and a free update for those who own it) and can be found HERE in the App Store.
