After a three week downtime Apple has officially restored all Developer Center services, this according to an email sent out to developers during the weekend.

Furthermore Apple announced that they will be extending all memberships for an additional month in order to make up for the unusually long downtime.

You might remember that the Dev Center was taken offline on July 18th after the Cupertino company learned that “an intruder” had compromised the website.

While Apple has yet to reveal the identity of those behind the attack, one Ibrahim Balic quickly came forward and took responsibility, claiming that he found a total of 13 bugs on Apple’s site, one of which provided him with access to user information.

We are pleased to let you know that all our developer program services are now online. Your patience during this time was sincerely appreciated.

We understand that the downtime was significant and apologize for any issues it may have caused in your app development. To help offset this disruption, we are extending the membership of all developer teams by one month. If you need any further assistance, please contact us.
