The hope that Apple will finally introduce Cut and Paste is an ever-present, but as of yet unfulfilled, hope.

Various work arounds have been offered including a web-based soution that made the rounds earlier this week. One app that brings cut and paste in a highly effective manner is MagicPad.

While MagicPad is limited to cut and paste within the app itself, it works perfectly. Moreover, MagicPad offers the opportunity to create rich-text with a variety of fonts, colors and more.

A recent update includes-

* Email enhancements:
– CAPTCHA removed
– Ability to send email through iPhone Mail App
– Ability to send plain-text emails
* Ability for users to sort notes by:
– Date Modified
– By Title
– Manually
– Ascending or descending view
* Users can now set default text attributes
* Swipe delete action added for notes
* Ability to edit/delete several notes at once
* UI improvements
* Bug fixes

Best of all,

MagicPad, which is usually $3.99, is currently free. As with all quality apps that are free for a brief period, even if you don’t see the need for it right now, I highly recommend grabbing it. You can’t beat the price and, who knows, you may find yourself using it more than you expect.

You can get MagicPad HERE in the App Store for FREE (for now).
