While there are many countries that already have a cellular version of the iPad 4 and the iPad Mini, the same cannot be said about China. However, there is good news to those that have been waiting for these two devices. This is because the two devices had just received the approval by the country’s telecom regulatory body so that it can be sold in the market. As such, the cellular version of the iPad Mini and the iPad 4 is available will be available in China this Friday.

The Wi-Fi version has been around since December already although the delay in the cellular version was mostly because of the late approval. The two devices are already available in more than 100 countries around the world with major markets such as the U.S, U.K and part of Europe to be the first few places that had received the iPad Mini and iPad 4.

In other news, the iPad had outsold Microsoft’s Surface RT tablets by 20 to 1 as analysts lowered the estimates of the sales of the device by just 1 million for Q4 2012. Regardless of the marketing strategy applied, the sales of these devices have been dismal.
