iPad Mini Now Jailbroken, iPhone Automatically Changes Time for DST

The iPhone 5 already has a working jailbreak but users need to have a developer account for it to work. The same goes to the iPad Mini. A day after it was launched, MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev Team had mentioned that the same way of jailbreaking for the iPhone 5 can be applied to the iPad Mini. However, to use it, there needs to be a working developer tool by the user. This method of jailbreaking is called failbreak. It is almost the same as a tethered jailbreak but requires a developer tool account.

This means that most people might not be able to jailbreak their iPad mini yet as a lot of them do not have the account. Just to clarify, no other way of jailbreaking the iPhone 5 has yet to be found and only a tethered jailbreak is available for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPod Touch 4G.

In unrelated news, the iPhone will automatically adjust its clock for Daylight Saving Time. This means that users do not need to move back an hour to fit DST. This was a question that a lot of users had considering that there was a bug regarding DST on the iOS 5. This has already been fixed in iOS 6.
