It is actually surprising that even though the iPhone 5 has not been launched, there are already flaws on the product. The company that produces the panel for the new iPhone, Wintek, exposed some troubles that it is currently facing with the production of the product. DigiTimes, a prominent blog in the Internet reported that the defect on the panel can only be detected during the assembly.

Wintek is currently accounts for 20 to 25 percent of the components for the new iPhone. There has been report that with the defect, there may be a problem in keeping up with the demand of the iPhone especially during the initial launch.

In other news, Samsung is currently fighting over its patent in wireless technology. According to the company, Samsung is taking legal actions in around 10 countries. The legal affair took a surprising turn earlier as the German court prohibits Samsung from directly selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the country. Since then, Samsung has been more aggressive in protecting its rights. The company’s senior vice president, Mr. Lee has said that the company was previously “passive” on its stance against Apple but that would not be the case anymore. The worst case scenario on Apple would be the prohibition on sales on any of the countries much like what had happened with the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
