Big Stone Phone , the creative minds behind apps such as Twittelator Pro, have released their latest app- MobileMix. MobileMix is a portable pocket music studio that allows you to record individual tracks and then play them back at the same time.

As Andrew Stone, Stone’s CEO notes- "With MobileMix you can instantly create new songs. Capture ambient sounds and overlay with your own poetry, singing or raving. Lay down music tracks and you are a one [wo]man band!"

The app features:
* Beautifully designed UI
* Record as many tracks as you like
* Apply album artwork to your songs
* Label your songs explicit or clean as need be
* Upload to a computer

You can record tracks, upload to a computer then share them with others. For example, if you have ever wanted to harmonize with yourself MobileMix makes it easy. Record the song once, then carefully lay down a second track over it. Then play them back together.

I’ve been playing around with it this morning and am finding some unusual, and fun, ways to use it.

Yup, I’ve got my dog’s bark looping along with Coldplay’s 42. Sure the original sounds better, but it doesn’t make me smile nearly as much.

Introductory pricing is just $3.99 but we have copies for a few lucky readers.

For a chance to win one just leave a comment letting us know one fun use for an app such as this.
