This past Saturday a huge Apple fan put a lot of money on the table for an Apple I, the buyer from the Far East spent a record $671,400 on the extremely rare Apple computer. These babies originally retailed for about $666 which today would equal roughly $2,700.

The Apple I has only had one owner since being bought in 1976, that is until recently when the owner sold the non working Mac to a restorer for $40,000 he then had it fixed and rewired so it now runs like new, he then flew out to California and had Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak sign it.

Apparently when the original owner heard of the recent auction price he said “My God,” then added “Best to him. He’s the one who fixed it up and figured the best way to sell it for all that money. Evidently, he’s very good at this.”

The Apple I comes with a signed letter from Steve Jobs.
