If the popularity of a new web browser made available in the App Store is any indication, iPhone users want flash support. Skyfire Web Browser launched last week and givess iPhone users the ability to view sites with Flash content. MobileCrunch reported that Skyfire grossed a whopping $1 million over launch weekend.

The app, which costs $2.99, was quickly pulled by Apple after Skyfire’s servers couldn’t handle the demand. The app works by converting Flash to HTML5. An iPad version is coming soon.

Is this proof that Apple’s customers want Flash support for iOS devices? It is probably too early to tell but at this early stage I would say yes. So should Apple give in to customer demands or does Steve Jobs know what is best for us?
