Weird Laws – Review

This is a simple and straight forward app. It very much reminds me of the Cool Facts app I reviewed last week.  Basically, Weird Laws, gives you just that… A list of strange laws from all of the states around the US.

You can click the next button to see the next law in alphabetical order by state, or you can click random and just see what shows up.  Who would have known that in Charlotte North Carolina, women must have their bodies covered by at least 16 yards of cloth at all times?  Or how about, in Montana it is a felony for a wife to open her husband’s mail.  I guess my mail would never be opened if I lived in Montana.

There you have it.  Pretty simple.  This app is not flashy, but has a lot of content.  It is free, so if you are curious of bizarre laws, check it out.  I am not sure how many laws are included or if the app is ever updated, so you will have to discover that on your own.

Quick take:
Value:  Not sure.
Would I buy again?  I would check it out for free.  That is why Apple invented the delete!
Learning Curve:  Zero
Who is it for?  Those of us who like useless information.
What I like:  Learning about the strange laws.
What I don’t:  Once you see the law, it is done.
