Less than fifteen years ago the ReBirth software package allowed people from all around the world to create incredibly rich Techno music compositions on their computers. Today that capability has been converted into a mobile app with all of the same functions, features, and flawless sound.

The ReBirth app features the same double set of Roland 303 monophonic synthesizers known as the Bassline Synthesizers with pattern sequencers. There are also the same TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines too. The five original Mods are also available through the app as well, and this means that the Standard, Metallicon, Massen’s MSM 2.0, Orbit 2.0 and the Pitch Black Edition drum machine effects are readily available for use in every new track.

Each of the devices comes with a separate mixer panel set to one side of the screen, and the original effects controls are there too. These include the compression, distortion, delay, and pattern controlled filter effects that make for amazing results. The original Pattern and Song modes are integrated into the app, and the sharing and collaboration features will make it an even more rewarding experience as well.

There are many music making apps such as Looptastic and TouchOSC, but the ReBirth app is already well-known within the Techno music world as a comprehensive and powerful studio-quality tool.

The cost for the app is $6.99, and any updates are free of charge. This app functions with iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
