The evil scientists of the world have banded together and plan to reign destruction on the world. You are the cyborg hero charged with stopping their terrible plot. What are you equipped with to face this cabal of devious masterminds and their loyal hordes? Just your metal fist.

League of Evil by Ravenous Games is a charming pixel graphic platformer with classic chip-tune soundtrack, fast paced action, and simple gameplay. In League of Evil you navigate your character through the level looking for the scientist and then you punch him into oblivion. The graphics are simple pixel style graphics but the over the top violence. You can do double jumps and wall jumps, and the game gives you decent control over the movement of your character. You must avoid spikes, electricity, thugs and cannons. Each level has a time goal and a hidden briefcase, and the levels are generally easy enough to complete.

I was shocked at first as how quickly the difficulty ramped up in the early levels, but as I have now gone through more than half the game, I notice that the difficulty doesn’t change much after the initial push. I find most levels relatively easy to complete with under the time goal while still finding the briefcase. Hopefully the developer will update the game without more levels that will challenge those players that have mastered the game. Otherwise, I found this game to be charming and fun to play. It is also priced with aggressively at a buck, and there is a lite version to get your hook. I would place this in my list of must have games.
